Speech Of Heart Attack
What is a Heart Attack?
A heart attack, or myocardial infarction, occurs when the blood flow to a part of the heart is blocked, causing damage to the heart muscle due to lack of oxygen. The main cause is the blockage of coronary arteries (the blood vessels supplying the heart), usually due to the buildup of plaque (fat, cholesterol, etc.).
Causes of a Heart Attack:
1. **Cholesterol Buildup**: Plaque builds up in the arteries, leading to blockages.
2. **High Blood Pressure**: Can damage the arteries over time.
3. **Diabetes**: Increases the risk of damage to blood vessels.
4. **Smoking**: Constricts blood vessels and impairs blood flow.
5. **Obesity**: Raises the risk of high blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes.
6. **Unhealthy Diet**: High in fat, cholesterol, and processed foods.
### Types of Heart Attacks:
Heart attacks are generally classified into three types:
1. **STEMI (ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction)**: The most severe type, where a coronary artery is completely blocked.
2. **NSTEMI (Non-ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction)**: A partial blockage of a coronary artery.
3. **Silent Myocardial Infarction**: Occurs without noticeable symptoms and is often detected later through tests.
